With rain lashing it down on Friday evening I didn’t need persuading that it was an evening for some good old-fashioned comfort food. It was the perfect excuse to try a homemade meat pie supplied by Sway Butchers and it didn’t disappoint!
The pastry was rich, providing a great crunch before giving way to port infused tender pieces of beef that melted in your mouth. The stilton was a particularly lovely addition that provided just the right amount of kick – one to sample for yourselves.
